Use this website lawfully and in a way that does not interfere with its operation or other people's access. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to hosting systems, introduce malicious code, overload the service, scrape personal information or misrepresent the site. Do not use the material to encourage unsafe work. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with laws that apply to you.
User obligations and contact form
Information you submit should be accurate and should not contain confidential, unlawful or sensitive material. The contact form currently performs browser-side validation and shows a local confirmation only. It does not transmit or deliver your message to the publisher. Use the listed email address for an actual enquiry. Do not use the form as an emergency contact channel or rely on it to create a record with us.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the site's original writing, design, diagrams and branding are owned by or licensed to Glass Atlas Reference Ltd. Copyright and other intellectual property laws may protect this material. You may access and read it for personal, educational and non-commercial reference. You may quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the relevant guide where permitted by law. Do not republish substantial portions, present the content as your own, remove notices or use branding in a way that implies endorsement without prior written permission.
Photographs are provided through the image service identified by their image URLs and may be subject to that service's terms. Third-party rights remain with their respective owners. Inline diagrams and original site graphics are part of the site's content unless a specific notice says otherwise.
Informational content and safety
The atlas provides general educational information about glassmaking, history, materials and workshop selection. It is not professional engineering, conservation, legal, medical or safety advice. Glass processes can involve extreme heat, torches, molten material, sharp edges, thermal stress and hazardous dust. Do not use an article as an operating procedure. Seek qualified instruction, suitable protective equipment, ventilation, manufacturer guidance and established workshop procedures. Building, structural, conservation and product decisions require advice from qualified professionals familiar with the actual project.
Accuracy limitations
Content is prepared as a general reference and may be incomplete, out of date or subject to scholarly debate. Historical attribution and regional terminology can change as evidence is reassessed. No guarantee is made that every statement is complete, current or appropriate to your situation. Check primary sources, current professional guidance and relevant providers before acting. The website does not claim firsthand verification of workshops, prices, opening hours, courses or current availability.

Courts with appropriate jurisdiction in England and Wales may hear claims, without removing any mandatory right to bring a claim in a consumer's home jurisdiction.
